It is well known that Shivin Narang aka Ranvi of Veera who has an image of ideal brother, doesn’t have sister in real life. Since childhood his bua ties him rakhi. “By God’s blessings, we have too much love in our family. My bua ties me rakhi. I have two buas, one lives abroad and one lives here in India. She only ties me rakhi so I never missed having a sister. Obviously, after doing Veera I didn’t feel it as everyone started calling me veer ji or bhai. Jo bhagwan ne nahi diya woh TV ne de diya,” says Shivin.
This time his bua came Mumbai and informed that Veera rakhi is a big hit in Delhi, Punjab and North India.
“I was very happy,” reacted Shivin when he heard the Veera rakhis are selling like hot cakes in Delhi “I am proud that we have done something so good that people still remember us. It was a simple brother-sister show yet it gained immense popularity and being Veer ji I felt all the rakhis are made for me. And gave the feeling that through our hardwork we have achieve a lot because I know that this rakhi is very popular in north of the country.”
The TV actor has always considered the ideal brother by everyone courtesy Ranvijay of Veera. But he doen’t mind when everyone thinks of him as a brother all the time. “Not all people can be your loved ones and if they are considering me as a brother or friend, it’s a nice thing. It actually connects me with people that every time they greet me with joy and compliments me like ‘I want a veer ji like you’, ‘I want a husband like you’. I feel proud that whatever we had done in the show helped us gained such fame. It gives satisfaction.”
Shivin’s bua tied him rakhi and then left for Delhi as she has to tie rakhi to his father. Since school the TV actor has many muhboli sisters. “They are not always there to tie me rakhi as it is not the core of relation. I feel a brother is the person who always protects and takes care of his sister. Tying rakhi is a ritual but if by some circumstances it is not possible, I believe the feeling of caring and mutual love is more important.”
Shivin is Obviously missing his on screen sister Digangana Suryavanshi. But they are still in touch. The Veera duo still chat and talk about all the small little things happening in life but miss meeting daily and talking about anything and everything on set. Well he may be the ideal brother the fact is he is the most eligible bachelor around and is popular among girls be it is his gym or fraternity or hometown!
